Pre-Season Rehearsals / Info!

Here you will find the dates and information about pre-season. Pre-season is important for all students and is imperative for the success of the group. Please communicate with Mr. Simmons if you are unable to attend so you can still keep up. The season’s information meeting is on March 4th and registration for band camp and a performance spot is due by May 1st! If you are ready to register, please follow the link below:

Spring-Training

Spring-Trainings are rehearsals for all wind/brass prospective marching students. Students will learn fundamentals on their instrument, their warmups, stand tunes, and the beginning of the show music. All rehearsals are in room 838, the band room, at Cactus HS.

NEEDS: Students will need to bring their instrument, water, and comfortable clothes

DATES: March 27th, April 9th, April 23rd, May 7th

TIME: 5-7pm

Rookie Camp

Rookie camp is for all first year students of the Cobra Regiment, regardless of age. This is for students to get their first exposure to marching fundamentals in an environment just for them. Students should report to the band room, room 838 at Cactus HS.

NEEDS: Students will need to bring their instrument, water, athletic clothes, and athletic shoes

WHEN: July 12th, 8am-11am

June Drop-By Thursdays

Every Thursday at 8am in June, Mr. Simmons will be in the band room to do summer prep/work. Students are welcome to come by and hang out, get music help, practice, etc. on these days, but it is not required.
